INNOVATION

We believe innovation is vital to improving the development of our built environment. There are many aspects of construction that can be changed for the better – to help delivery of real estate for clients, provision of space for citizens, and sustainability for the environment.

We use innovative emerging technologies and software to develop our designs and maintain links with University College London, and the American University of Sharjah for research.

Co-Living

We are experts in developing large scale co-living projects as a new residential typology in Dubai. This involves smaller, simple but highly functional units with enhanced social common spaces in a large building. Facilities can include a café/workspace, cinema, games room, yoga studio, shared dining room and boutique shops. All these facilities create social connections and a stronger community in the building, giving higher quality of life on a lower budget. We have developed over 700 units of this type for Emaar.

New Typologies

We like to push what is the normal expectations for what a building can be. Functions do not need to be restricted to the expected types, change should be welcomed. There are always new ways for people to work, live and enjoy themselves. We have developed proposals with our clients for supplying materials to the moon in the future, that make entertainment a social event, that provide a sail-thru cafe for the sea, and academic buildings that challenge how education will function in the future.

Fastrack Delivery

We are experts in delivering high quality design in a very short time frame and have developed bespoke methods for achieving this with innovative management techniques and use of software. We recently took a 70,000m2 residential tower project from brief to tender documents in 4 months, with full statutory approvals.

3d printing

We have designed projects using 3d printed components, pre-fabrication and modular systems to help modernize the construction process for the 21st century. We work with European universities using the latest technologies to develop works, showing how this emerging technology can be used for new types of building components and public realm features.
